Reality TV Personality Kyle Chrisley Arrested in Tennessee, Allegedly Assaulted Officers During Police Encounter Celebrity Mugshots

Kyle Chrisley, a former reality television figure and son of TV personalities Todd and Julie Chrisley, was arrested in Tennessee on December 20 after an intense encounter with law enforcement officers, according to official reports. The 34-year-old now faces a string of serious charges that stem from what authorities describe as a volatile and violent situation during a domestic incident.


Alleged Assault on Officers During Arrest

Law enforcement responded to a call over a domestic disturbance involving Chrisley in Rutherford County, Tennessee late Saturday evening. Officials say when deputies attempted to detain him, he became combative — allegedly punching and injuring multiple officers and resisting their efforts to take him into custody. Chrisley was ultimately subdued with the use of OC spray and booked into the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center.

According to deputies’ statements, Chrisley appeared intoxicated at the time of the incident and later acknowledged consuming a significant amount of beer before law enforcement arrived at the scene.


Multiple Charges and Court Scheduling

Following his arrest, Chrisley was charged with a range of offenses including domestic assault, assaulting law enforcement officers, resisting arrest, public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and related counts tied to retaliation. He was freed on a bond amount set at $88,500 and is scheduled to appear in court early next year.


History of Legal Issues

This arrest adds to a pattern of legal troubles for Chrisley dating back several years. Previous run-ins with authorities include arrests for aggravated assault and other charges, as well as a civil lawsuit he and his wife filed last year alleging wrongful arrest stemming from a separate incident.
