Crash in Chicago Lawn Leaves Teens Critically Hurt

In the early morning hours of Wednesday, a stolen vehicle collided with a viaduct in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago, resulting in serious injuries to two teenagers who were subsequently taken into custody. The incident occurred around 1:20 a.m. as officers on patrol spotted the suspicious car before the crash.

The vehicle, a silver car occupied by two young males believed to be in their late teens, struck a viaduct on the 3500 block of West Marquette Road. Chicago police quickly intervened at the scene following the impact. Both teens were immediately taken into custody at the crash site.

🏥 Injuries and Hospitalization

Emergency responders transported both occupants to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where authorities reported they were in critical condition with severe injuries. The extent of their injuries remains serious, and police confirmed charges are pending as part of the ongoing investigation.
