Police in Toledo, Ohio, have intensified their search for two suspects following a mass shooting that wounded 12 people during the popular Old West End Festival. Investigators believe the violence erupted after a dispute between rival groups, causing panic among hundreds of attendees gathered for the annual event.

Police Identify One Suspect and Seek Help Finding Second Gunman

Authorities announced that 20-year-old Ka Nye Taylor is wanted on 11 counts of felonious assault in connection with the shooting. Investigators also released an image of another man dressed in black, describing him as a second shooter and asking the public for assistance in identifying him.

The shooting took place near festival attractions that included food trucks, live music, and vendor tents. Officials believe two individuals exchanged gunfire after a person was tackled and assaulted during an altercation.

Victims Include Bystanders and People Involved in Fight

Police said three of the injured individuals were directly involved in the confrontation, while the remaining victims were innocent bystanders. Those hurt ranged in age from teenagers to people in their 60s.

Most of the victims have already been released from hospitals, with only a few still receiving medical treatment. Emergency crews, police officers, and civilians were praised for providing immediate aid to the wounded, including applying tourniquets before ambulances arrived.

Festival Activities Canceled Following Shooting

The violence led organizers to cancel the remainder of the Old West End Festival. Officials said continuing the event would not have been appropriate after the tragedy.

Investigators are continuing to follow leads and have urged anyone with photos, videos, or information related to the incident to contact authorities. Police remain focused on locating both suspects and determining the full sequence of events.
