Authorities in Alabama are investigating a disturbing case after a man believed to have fatally strangled his girlfriend reportedly died of a heart attack while attempting to dispose of her body in a wooded area.
The victims were identified as Daniel Robbins, 44, of Georgia, and Jessica Folds, 47, of Lanett, Alabama. Investigators believe the incident unfolded on the night before both bodies were discovered near an abandoned pickup truck in Chambers County.
Investigation Points to Domestic Violence
According to investigators, deputies responded after a passerby noticed a pickup truck left running with its driver’s door open on a dirt road. A search of the surrounding wooded area led officers to the bodies of Robbins and Folds.
