Dozens of people were also injured, while hundreds of residents were evacuated from the affected area. Emergency services remained at the scene as authorities assessed the full scale of the destruction.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the attack and said officials were investigating the circumstances surrounding the explosion and the damage caused near civilian areas.
