The teenager departed her residence off Perkins Road in the Prairieville area at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Saturday and has not returned. The alert was officially broadcast at 12:59 p.m. on Tuesday.
She is described as a Black female, standing about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 113 pounds. At the time she was last seen, she was wearing blue jean shorts, a white T-shirt with a Hello Kitty graphic, no shoes, and a distinctive pink hair bonnet.
Authorities emphasise that this alert — a Level II Endangered/Missing Child Advisory — is used when a child’s safety is believed to be at risk, but the situation does not meet the stricter criteria for an AMBER Alert.
