A new wave of Russian attacks has struck multiple Ukrainian cities, with missiles and drones hitting residential neighborhoods and critical infrastructure. The large-scale assault has resulted in civilian casualties and widespread damage, marking one of the most intense bombardments in recent weeks as the conflict continues to escalate.

🚀 Large-Scale Assault Targets Cities Nationwide

Russia launched hundreds of drones along with dozens of missiles in a coordinated overnight and daytime offensive across Ukraine. The attacks impacted several major cities, including Kyiv and western regions near the Polish border.

Ukrainian officials reported that the strikes were part of a broader escalation that may signal the start of a renewed offensive. Air defense systems intercepted many incoming threats, but several still reached their targets, causing destruction in urban areas.

🏠 Civilian Areas and Infrastructure Suffer Heavy Damage

Residential buildings, transport networks, and energy infrastructure were among the sites hit during the attacks. In some areas, drones struck homes and even historic districts, leaving civilians dead and injured.

Reports indicate that at least five people were killed in overnight strikes, with additional casualties recorded in subsequent attacks. In western Ukraine, a drone strike damaged parts of a historic zone, while other regions saw homes destroyed and people trapped under debris.

The attacks also disrupted energy systems beyond Ukraine’s borders, including damage to power connections affecting neighboring countries.

⚔️ Escalation Raises Concerns Over Wider Offensive

Military analysts suggest the scale and coordination of the strikes point to a broader strategic push by Russian forces. Ground operations have also intensified in eastern regions, adding pressure along the front lines.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has urged international allies to urgently provide more air defense systems, warning that existing supplies are under strain amid ongoing attacks.

Despite continued resistance from Ukrainian forces, the latest strikes highlight the ongoing risks faced by civilians and the growing humanitarian impact of the war.
