Iran’s judiciary identified the executed men as Omid Behzad and Pouria Safvat. Officials alleged that they transmitted information about strategic military and security sites, helping Israeli intelligence gather operational details during recent hostilities involving Iran.
State media did not disclose when the suspects were arrested or provide additional details about the court proceedings before the death sentences were carried out.

The latest executions come as Iran continues to increase penalties in cases linked to alleged espionage and national security offenses.
