Shocking Arrest in Union City

A school administrative employee in Union City, Indiana, has been taken into custody as part of an ongoing criminal investigation involving alleged inappropriate conduct with a minor student. Local law enforcement officials say the woman was arrested and charged after authorities uncovered evidence of a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old pupil.

Investigators say the case first came to light when officers were called to a reported domestic disturbance. During that response, the woman’s husband claimed to have found her in a compromising situation with an 18-year-old student, prompting further police scrutiny.

Details of the Allegations

During the course of the investigation, police allege that the employee had a separate sexual relationship with a different student who was 17 at the time. Authorities say records and witness accounts suggest the two engaged in sexual activity on multiple occasions.

Based on that evidence, she was formally charged with five counts of child seduction, a felony offense, and booked into the Randolph County Jail. Bond was set at $25,000 in cash.

School District Response and Ongoing Investigation

The suspect, identified as a secretary with the Randolph Eastern School Corporation, has been removed from all duties involving students while the legal process unfolds. School officials say they are cooperating with law enforcement and taking steps to ensure student safety.

Authorities have encouraged anyone with additional information to come forward as the investigation continues.
