An Istanbul court has sentenced two juvenile defendants to 24 years in prison for the stabbing death of 14-year-old Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, who was attacked near the historic Kadıköy Tuesday Market on January 24 and died of his injuries on February 9. Two other teens were acquitted. The verdict was delivered on October 21, 2025, by the Anadolu 2nd Juvenile High Criminal Court.
