A 29-year-old New York man has been charged in connection with the deaths of his wife, two young children, and a store employee in a shocking series of incidents that unfolded in the Buffalo area.
According to prosecutors, the suspect faces multiple murder charges following the deaths of his 26-year-old wife and their two sons, aged 3 and 4. Authorities allege the killings occurred on June 1, leading to a major investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies.
Store Clerk Fatally Shot in Buffalo
Investigators say officers first responded to reports of a shooting at a business on Grant Street in Buffalo during the afternoon hours. When police arrived, they found a 43-year-old store clerk suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
Emergency responders attempted to assist the victim, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities later identified the victim as a local resident who was working at the store when the shooting occurred.
The suspect was subsequently charged with second-degree murder in connection with the clerk’s death.
Wife and Young Children Found Dead at Family Home
Roughly an hour after the Buffalo shooting, police officers were called to a residence in Cheektowaga following concerns about the family’s welfare.
