South African police have arrested three people in connection with the murder of a woman whose body was discovered in Dawn Park, Boksburg, east of Johannesburg. The arrests come as authorities investigate a series of nine killings involving women in the Ekurhuleni area over the past two months.
The suspects, consisting of one man and two women, were arrested over the weekend by officers from the Gauteng Murder and Robbery Unit. They were expected to appear before the Boksburg Magistrates’ Court on Monday, September 21.

The latest case involves the ninth woman identified in a series of murder investigations currently being handled by police in Gauteng. Her body was discovered in Dawn Park on September 17, adding to growing concerns about violence against women in the region.
