Urgent Search Underway for Missing San Antonio Woman

San Antonio, TX — Law enforcement agencies in Texas have launched an intensive search for 19-year-old Camila Mendoza Olmos, who vanished early on December 24, 2025, and is now believed to be in imminent danger, officials announced. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office say they are extremely concerned for her safety as the investigation continues.

Last Known Movements Raise Alarm

Surveillance footage from the morning of her disappearance shows a person believed to be Mendoza Olmos outside her home at around 6:58 a.m., looking through her vehicle before the video abruptly ends. Deputies believe she then left on foot, as her car remained parked at the residence. Authorities noted that she only took her car keys and possibly her driver’s license, leaving behind her phone, which has heightened concerns among investigators.

Sheriff Javier Salazar confirmed that Mendoza Olmos was not detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), underscoring that there’s no indication she is in any federal custody.

Multi-Agency Effort and Possible Danger Scenarios

The search for the missing 19-year-old has expanded beyond local authorities. The FBI is assisting with technical support, and the Department of Homeland Security is tracking potential border crossings and international travel, suggesting investigators are keeping all possibilities open — including scenarios that could lead beyond U.S. borders.

Officials have not ruled out a range of explanations for her disappearance, such as foul play, human trafficking, abduction or voluntary absence. A recent mutual romantic breakup has been mentioned but is not believed to be directly connected to her disappearance.

Community Steps Up to Aid Search

Camila’s family, friends and volunteers have joined the ongoing search efforts throughout northwest Bexar County, particularly around the last known location on the 11000 block of Caspian Spring. Concerned neighbors are checking surveillance footage and canvassing local areas in hopes of finding new leads.

Authorities urge anyone who may have seen Camila or has relevant information to contact the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office immediately.
