Grieving Community Seeks Answers After Fatal Parking Lot Incident
A 31-year-old woman in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, was tragically killed early Wednesday after being struck and dragged by a vehicle in a shopping center parking lot, law enforcement confirmed. The woman, who had recently become a mother, was discovered by deputies during a welfare check around 3:00 a.m., and later pronounced dead at the scene. Officials say the evidence indicates she was hit and pulled by a car before her death.

According to the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of a person down in the retail parking area on Whitney Road.
