Authorities allege that the 51-year-old, who claimed a $167 million prize in 2025, was arrested after breaking into a home and stealing thousands of dollars in cash—marking yet another incident since his lottery win.
Alleged Break-In and Theft in Lexington
According to police reports, the accused unlawfully entered a residence in Lexington on March 28. Surveillance footage reportedly captured him near a side door before the break-in occurred. The homeowner later reported hearing a loud noise consistent with forced entry and discovered that $12,000 in cash was missing.
Authorities later tracked him down at a nearby casino and racetrack, where he was taken into custody without incident. During a search of his vehicle, officers allegedly found marijuana and related items, leading to additional charges.
