Troubled Weekend Leads to Second Arrest in New Hampshire
Elijah Blue Allman, 49, was taken into custody again in New Hampshire after police say he allegedly broke into a home in Windham and caused property damage. This latest arrest follows a separate incident just days earlier, pointing to escalating legal issues for the musician and son of iconic performers.
Alleged Break-In and Property Damage in Windham
According to law enforcement officials, authorities were called to a residence on Ministerial Road in Windham early Sunday morning after a homeowner reported an unknown man had forced entry through a window. A 911 caller reportedly hid in a closet during the alleged break-in before officers arrived.
When police entered the home, they found Allman seated on a couch smoking a cigarette and took him into custody without incident. He has been charged with felony burglary, two counts of criminal mischief, and breach of bail from his prior arrest. Investigators say nothing appears to have been stolen, but damage to the door and interior rugs was estimated to total nearly $2,700.
Previous Arrest at Concord Prep School
This isn’t Allman’s only recent run-in with police. On Feb. 27 in nearby Concord, New Hampshire, officers responded to reports of a disturbance at St. Paul’s School, a private boarding school, where he allegedly acted belligerently in a dining area. That incident led to charges including simple assault, criminal trespass, criminal threatening, and disorderly conduct. He was released on personal recognizance ahead of arraignment.
Allman is now being held pending further court appearances in connection with both arrests.
