Cypriot officials have confirmed that the body found on a southern beach is that of 53-year-old Vladislav Baumgertner, a Russian businessman and former chief executive of global potash producer Uralkali. Local authorities say DNA analysis has established that the remains recovered on January 15 from the Avdimou coastal area belong to Baumgertner, who vanished from his home in Limassol on January 7.
