A large-scale crackdown on organized cargo theft in Southern California has led to the recovery of millions of dollars in stolen merchandise and the arrest of multiple suspects. Officials say the operation uncovered a complex network targeting major retail and logistics companies across the region.

Law enforcement agencies carried out a coordinated investigation across Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties, executing 13 search warrants between December 2025 and February 2026.

During the operation, detectives recovered approximately $7 million worth of stolen cargo along with nearly $1 million in cash. Authorities say the stolen goods were linked to shipments taken from at least 36 companies.

Officials reported that the seized items included a broad mix of high-value merchandise such as electronics, appliances, tools, clothing, and even recreational vehicles. Products ranged from televisions and sound systems to golf carts, ATVs, and branded goods.
