Celebrity Scion Arrested After Reported Disturbance at Exclusive Campus
Elijah Blue Allman, 49, the son of famed singer Cher and the late musician Gregg Allman, was arrested Friday evening in Concord, New Hampshire, after police say he was involved in a disruptive incident at an elite private school. Law enforcement confirmed Allman was acting belligerently in the dining hall of St. Paul’s School, prompting officers to take him into custody.
Multiple Misdemeanor Charges Filed
According to authorities, Allman was charged with four misdemeanor offenses, including two counts of simple assault, criminal trespass and criminal threatening. He was also charged with disorderly conduct, a state-level violation that is unlawful but not classified as a crime.
Police say he had no known connection to the school, and the reason for his presence on campus remains unclear as the investigation continues. After processing at the Merrimack County Jail, Allman was released on bail and is expected to appear in court at a later date.
Incident Comes Amid Ongoing Personal Challenges
This arrest marks another public incident for Allman, who has previously faced medical emergencies linked to erratic behaviour and substance use. While representatives for Allman or his mother have not publicly addressed the latest charges, law enforcement continues to gather details surrounding the episode at the prep school.
