Law enforcement officials announced Wednesday that three suspects have been taken into custody in connection with the November break-in at NFL quarterback Shedeur Sanders’ Ohio home, where roughly $200,000 worth of belongings were stolen while he was playing in a game. A fourth individual linked to the incident is still being sought under an active arrest warrant as authorities conclude their investigation.
Burglary Occurred During Sanders’ NFL Debut
According to the Medina County Sheriff’s Office, the break-in took place on November 16, 2025, in the Granger Township suburb of Cleveland, while Sanders was competing in his first regular-season game with the Cleveland Browns. Surveillance footage showed three masked and gloved suspects entering the home through an unsecured door shortly before 7 p.m. and leaving about 12 minutes later with multiple items belonging to the 23-year-old quarterback.
Officials estimate the total value of the stolen property at about $200,000, though Sanders has publicly said none of his personal jewelry was taken.
Arrests Made as Investigation Concludes
On January 7, 2026, deputies confirmed that three of the four people identified in the investigation have been arrested and are in custody. The sheriff’s office issued a warrant for the remaining suspect, believed to have been the getaway driver during the burglary, who remains at large.
