NEW YORK CITY — Cleveland Browns defensive back Ronnie Hickman, 24, was reportedly assaulted by a group of four unidentified men in the lobby of a Manhattan hotel early Monday morning, according to law enforcement and team officials. The NFL safety was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital before being discharged and is now resting with his family.

Police say the incident occurred shortly before dawn at the SIXTY LES hotel on Allen Street in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, where officers were called to reports of an assault around 4:30–4:35 a.m. local time.
According to the NYPD, four individuals exchanged words with Hickman before punching him and fleeing the scene in an unknown direction. No suspects have been identified or arrested as the investigation continues, and authorities are reviewing surveillance footage to learn more.
