James Rodden, a prosecutor for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), appeared to have returned to his professional duties today. Rodden was previously the subject of a report by the Observer last year, which identified him as the operator of an X account that disseminated white supremacist rhetoric.
According to the Observer’s investigation, the social media account in question posted statements asserting that “America is a White nation” and claimed that “‘Migrants’ are all criminals.” The account also reportedly shared content that appeared to praise Adolf Hitler. Rodden’s apparent return to the federal agency follows the initial exposure of these posts, which had previously drawn public scrutiny regarding his role within the immigration enforcement system.
