CINCINNATI — In the early hours of Sunday morning, gunfire erupted inside a popular East End music venue in Cincinnati, leaving nine people injured and prompting a police investigation. The chaotic scene unfolded at Riverfront Live around 1 a.m. when shots were fired amid a large crowd attending an event.
Gunfire Breaks Out at Packed Venue
Authorities say the incident occurred at Riverfront Live, a nightclub and concert space on Kellogg Avenue where an estimated 500 to 600 patrons were present when the shooting began. Police responded swiftly after reports of multiple shots being fired.
Interim Police Chief Adam Hennie confirmed that all nine victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Officials have stated that none suffered life-threatening injuries, though some were treated for gunshot wounds.
