Authorities say that former television anchor 47-year-old Angelynn “Angie” Mock is now booked on first-degree murder charges after her 80-year-old mother, Anita Avers, was found unresponsive in her bed with multiple stab wounds. Neighbours reported seeing Mock covered in blood shortly before the 911 call, and the arrest has ignited a wave of shock across the local community.
