Luxury Burglary Shakes Bronx Neighborhood

A pair of suspected thieves pulled off a bold apartment burglary in the Morris Heights section of the Bronx, making off with more than half a million dollars in designer items and cash, police say. The heist occurred late Nov. 25, and authorities believe the suspects targeted the residence while it was unoccupied.


High-Value Designer Items Targeted in Heist

According to law enforcement, the suspects ransacked an apartment on Undercliff Avenue and stole a large collection of luxury goods, including:

  • Approximately $200,000 in Louis Vuitton footwear,
  • Around $100,000 worth of Chanel handbags,
  • Close to $150,000 in jewelry,
  • Roughly $104,000 in cash.

The total estimated value of the stolen property is more than $550,000. Investigators are looking into whether the suspects had prior knowledge of the residence or its contents.


NYPD Releases Surveillance Footage, Seeks Public Help

The New York Police Department has released surveillance images of the two men believed to be involved in the burglary. As of now, both suspects remain unidentified and at large.

Descriptions provided by police include:

  • One man with a light complexion, wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, black sneakers, and carrying a camouflage backpack.
  • The second suspect, described as having a medium complexion, was seen in a black hooded sweatshirt, dark vest, black jeans, and dark sneakers.

Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact ** Crime Stoppers** or the NYPD’s tip line.
