Two men – a 63-year-old father and his 25-year-old son – were fatally shot in the early evening hours after a robbery at a jewelry store in Chicago’s Little Village neighbourhood. Police say an unknown male suspect forced entry into the store, fled the scene in a white SUV and remains at large as investigators scramble for tips.

The incident began around 5:49 p.m. when the intruder entered the jewellery store and cleared out merchandise.
