Houston – Organizers for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo have announced a major job fair scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 24, aimed at filling thousands of seasonal positions for the upcoming 2026 season. The event will be held at the NRG Stadium West Club from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The hiring initiative is a collaborative effort between the Rodeo and its primary operational partners, including ASM Global, Aramark, Safe Management, and RCS (carnival operations). Available positions cover a wide range of event-based roles, specifically security personnel, wait staff, bartenders, concessions cashiers, event staff, and carnival ride or game attendants.
Applicants attending the fair should be aware of specific logistical requirements. Parking for the event will be available in the Teal Lot at NRG Park. While the event is open to the public, organizers strongly encourage candidates to register online prior to arrival to streamline the process. Age requirements vary by employer; generally, applicants must be 18 years or older for positions with ASM Global, Aramark, and Safe Management, while RCS will accept applicants as young as 16 for carnival-related roles.
While these positions offer immediate employment opportunities, candidates should note that the roles are temporary and part-time, specifically designed to support the Rodeo’s three-week run from March 2 to March 22, 2026.
