Second Arrest Made in Toledo Festival Shooting Case
Police have taken a second suspect into custody in connection with the shooting that injured 12 people during the Old West End Festival in Toledo, Ohio. The incident occurred on June 6 and caused panic among festivalgoers attending the popular neighborhood event.
The newly arrested suspect, 20-year-old Ka Nye Taylor, was apprehended in Columbus with assistance from multiple law enforcement agencies. Authorities said he faces 11 counts of felonious assault related to the attack.
Investigators Say Dispute Escalated Into Gunfire
According to investigators, the violence began after a confrontation between rival groups near the festival grounds. Officials believe both suspects fired weapons into a crowd, leaving several bystanders among those wounded.
Police used witness statements, surveillance footage, and other evidence to identify those involved. Earlier, another 20-year-old suspect, Eljay Crisp-Carr, was arrested and charged with 11 counts of felonious assault.
Victims ranged in age from teenagers to people in their 60s. The shooting forced attendees to flee the area, and organizers later canceled the second day of the festival.

Law enforcement officials said the case remains under investigation, and additional evidence is still being reviewed. Authorities praised first responders and civilians who provided emergency aid to victims immediately after the shooting.
