New York Disability Advocate Found Dead, Son Arrested in Homicide Investigation
A well-known disability rights advocate from Scarsdale, New York, has died in what authorities describe as a tragic domestic homicide. Police have arrested her 26-year-old son, who now faces a charge of second-degree murder.
The victim, Marian Green, 71, was discovered inside her home on Butler Road in the Fox Meadow neighborhood during the early hours of the investigation. Officials allege that she was attacked sometime between July 5 and July 7. Her son, Chester Green, was taken into custody at the property.

According to investigators, Chester Green is accused of causing his mother’s death by using both sharp and blunt objects during the alleged assault. Law enforcement officers responded to the residence and later arrested him at the scene.
