A massive manhunt is underway in Kentucky after a man was shot 15 times during a violent late-night attack that police describe as targeted and extremely dangerous. Authorities in Newport are asking the public for help locating three suspects connected to the shooting, which left the victim seriously injured but alive.

Police Identify Three Wanted Suspects

According to investigators, arrest warrants have been issued for 30-year-old Tiance Combs, 26-year-old Terry Moses, and 30-year-old Kortney Alford following the May 9 shooting near 10th Street and Monmouth Avenue in Newport, Kentucky.

Police said the victim, identified by relatives as Trey Iles, was ambushed during the early morning hours. Authorities believe the incident was isolated and not a random act of violence. The suspects are considered armed and dangerous as the search continues.

Investigators stated that the suspects face multiple charges, including attempted murder and facilitation of attempted murder. Surveillance footage and witness statements reportedly helped detectives identify those involved.

Victim Survives After Being Shot 15 Times

Family members say the victim suffered gunshot wounds across several parts of his body during the attack. Despite the severity of the injuries, he survived and is currently recovering in the hospital.

Relatives described the incident as a “miracle survival,” claiming the victim was shot at close range. Loved ones also credited emergency responders and medical teams for helping save his life during the critical moments after the shooting.

Police have not publicly confirmed a motive, though family members believe the attack may have stemmed from a confrontation before the shooting occurred.

Community Asked to Help Locate Suspects

Newport police are urging anyone with information about the whereabouts of the three suspects to contact local authorities immediately. Investigators continue to follow leads as the manhunt expands across the region.

Officials also warned residents not to approach the suspects if seen, emphasizing that they should be considered dangerous.
